Queensland’s small and family businesses have received a major lift with the latest round of the Business Basics Grants program, led by the Crisafulli Government. Designed to enhance business capability, resilience, and growth, the program is delivering grants of up to $7,500 to help businesses across the state invest in their future.

The grants are open to a wide range of industries and support practical improvements in areas such as digital communications, marketing, coaching, and mentoring—giving businesses the tools they need to adapt, grow, and compete.

Investing in Small Business Success

More than 600 Queensland businesses have been successful in this round of the program, with funding awarded across key sectors including construction, tourism, health, professional services, and retail.

The grants aim to strengthen the operational foundation of small businesses by supporting projects such as:

  • Launching digital marketing campaigns
  • Upgrading websites and communications tools
  • Engaging business coaches and mentors
  • Implementing new business systems and practices

The program follows the success of a reimagined Small Business Month, which shifted focus from government-led celebration to direct, meaningful support for Queensland businesses.
