Gear Up for Glory: Name the New Smithfield Bike Trail!

Calling all Mountain bikers, big and small, it’s time to make a difference to the future of Smithfield’s Mountain Bike Park.

I am so excited to share the news that state funding has officially been confirmed for the Smithfield Mountain Bike Park upgrade, meaning we will be getting an extra 50km of trails by September 2028.

To celebrate, I want one of our amazing Barron River residents to cement their name in the mountain biking history books for life and NAME one of these trails.

The logistics are super simple. Enter your details as well as your chosen trail name, hit ENTER NOW and you’re done.

This competition runs until May 2026 with our shortlisted trail names announced in early 2026. Then it’s up to our Barron River residents to vote on their favourites.
