The smiles say it all! I had the pleasure of celebrating this milestone with Cr Brett Olds, Deputy Mayor of Cairns Regional Council, and Ellis Beach SLSC President Hamish Jenkins.
The new clubhouse is expected to be completed in just a few months, and I look forward to celebrating the grand opening with the entire Ellis Beach community. This upgrade isn’t just about a building—it’s about supporting the volunteers who save lives, teach vital skills, and bring our community together.
The new facilities will provide better spaces for training, community events, and everyday operations, helping the Ellis Beach Surf Lifesavers continue their incredible work for years to come.
