The upgraded clubhouse was funded by the Minor Infrastructure and Inclusive Facilities Fund (MIIFF) administer by DSROPG

Under MIIFF the club was approved $250,000 to upgrade the clubhouse to support lawn bowls at Trinity Beach with the Club to contribute an additional $123,553 towards the total project cost of $373,553

The completion of this project provides an indoor space that allows the Club to host a broad range of activities which are of great benefit to the elderly in terms of both physical movement and social interaction.

The new accessible entrance to the Club provides a safe and inclusive space for all, allowing all visitors and members the dignity of entering through the front entrance. Previously the only accessible entrance was the rear door

The increased floor plan improves circulation space for wheelchair users and enhances indoor seating capacity.

The extension of these facilities is about more than bricks and mortar—it’s about building a future where community, sport, and social connection thrive.

This project ensures that the Marlin Coast Bowls Club remains not just a sporting venue, but a welcoming hub for all generations.
