Victim Impact Statement (VIS) Assistance
Victim Assist Queensland provides financial assistance to victims of violent crime in Queensland to help them recover. Victim Assist can only provide financial assistance to victims of violent crime, including domestic violence, who were injured by another person or due to dangerous driving (person on person crime).
Victim Impact Statement Assistance
If you need assistance with writing a Victim Impact Statement (VIS), you can contact Victim Support service or a legal professional for guidance on how to effectively communicate the impact of the crime on your life. All victims of crime who wish to submit a VIS to the court can access this service. VIS may also be able to assist with financial relief but this is determined on a case by case basis.
