Today I started the day at the TEQ’s Global Market Briefings and Networking event. In the room are International Directors and Country Managers from key markets across the globe like China, India, America, New Zealand, Europe, Japan and Korea.
They are presenting key insights from global markets with local tourism stakeholders to ensure the industry is well equipped with the right information to influence their activity to ultimately drive visitation to Queensland.
We still have a long way to go to get visitation back to pre-covid levels.
With the highest coral cover of the Great Barrier Reef in recorded history, we need to get more visitors to the region to see it, love it and protect it. Qantas has launched some big sales to the region today, so keep an eye out and encourage your interstate mates to visit FNQ.
