Queensland businesses have a fresh opportunity to showcase their global success, with applications now open for the 2026 Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards. I encourage all those in the export industry in Far North Queensland to apply!

These prestigious awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of exporters across the state, an industry currently valued at $138.9 billion. From regional producers to advanced manufacturers, Queensland exporters play a vital role in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and supporting communities by bringing local products and services to some of the world’s most competitive markets.

The Crisafulli Government has positioned these awards as part of its broader vision to strengthen the economy and, in turn, deliver a better lifestyle for Queenslanders. By backing local businesses and rebuilding relationships with key international trading partners, the government aims to restore confidence and expand opportunities for exporters across the state.

Businesses that have embraced this renewed global focus are encouraged to apply, with support available through Trade and Investment Queensland. The agency is offering free assistance to help applicants navigate the nomination process and put forward their strongest case.

Last year’s Agribusiness, Food and Beverage category winner was Bundaberg-based Marquis Macadamias.

Applications close on 12 June 2026 with winners to represent Queensland at the Australian Export Awards in Canberra later this year. More info here.
