Grassroots sport across Queensland is set for a major boost, with the Crisafulli Government today launching Round 2 of the Games On! program and opening applications for a share of $30 million in funding.

Part of the Queensland Government’s Olympic and Paralympic Games legacy, Games On! is delivering real and lasting benefits for local communities by upgrading sporting infrastructure in the lead-up to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.

Following the success of Round 1, which supported 119 projects across Queensland, the second round will see hundreds more grassroots clubs benefit from improved facilities that make it easier for Queenslanders to get involved in sport.

Games On! is designed to ensure all of Queensland shares in the benefits of hosting the Games, from regional centres to remote communities and I encourage all sports clubs in FNQ to apply.
