G’Day Little Queenslanders is returning to Cairns for another year. Mark the calendar for 13 September 2026 and get ready for a great day out with your little ones.

Hosted at Norman Park, Gordonvale, this year, the free family-friendly event will bring together parents, carers and children for a morning packed with fun, entertainment and opportunities to connect with local services and support networks.

One of the biggest attractions on the day will be the Bluey Live Interactive Experience, where little Queenslanders can meet everyone’s favourite heelers, Bluey and Bingo. The event will also feature live children’s entertainment, activities for young families, food trucks and access to a range of government services and community information.

The G’day Little Queenslanders program is designed to celebrate early milestones while helping families access the resources and services they need to give their children the best possible start in life.

Parents of children aged 0 to 2 years can register for a personalised certificate to be presented at the event, while the first 200 children to arrive will receive a free kids’ bucket hat.

I’m so excited to welcome the next generation of our community while helping families access information, support and services that can make a real difference during those early years. Last year’s event was awesome so it’s great to see this event return to our region.

The Gordonvale event is one of a series being held across Queensland, helping families feel connected, informed and supported while celebrating the newest members of their communities.
