The Crisafulli Government has officially opened Round 2 applications for the landmark Women’s Career Grants, offering grants of up to $5,000 to support women returning to the workforce.
Following the success of Round 1, the program continues to reduce the cost of returning to work and boost women’s economic security across Queensland.
Round 1 of the program supported more than 1,000 Queensland women.
Round 2 grants remain available for a wide range of expenses, including:
- New workwear
- Registered childcare
- Training and re-certification
- Transport to and from job interviews
- Tools and technology
- Relocation expenses for new employment
This initiative helps women overcome barriers to workforce participation and supports a stronger, more resilient economy across the state.
We’re committed to giving women a clear pathway to economic security across Queensland, including strong regional reach to ensure access for all demographics.
Round 2 aims to empower just as many, if not more, women than Round 1, giving Queensland women the tools and support they need to re-enter the workforce successfully.
